
A local women's group is offering a scholarship program for female students showing entreprenurial skills.
The following is information from a press release provided by the group.
B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow), a women’s support, education and networking organization, currently offers a scholarship program that benefits high school junior and senior girls, or female students enrolled in a college or university who show exemplary entrepreneurial skills, strives to be a future leader in business, and seeks financial independence.

Applicants are asked to create a 1-2 page business plan. Their company can be in the business plan stage or an actual entity.
“Applicants who have an entrepreneurial spirit should apply. The B.I.G. organization believes we are never too young or too old to explore our passion and be self sufficient. Applicants who show an innovative approach in their business plan outline will be chosen," said Kathy Reidinger, Long Valley Pod Leader. "By offering this scholarship, we want to emphasize the importance of maintaining financial independence.”

Founded in Bernardsville, NJ, B.I.G. is a membership-based organization utilizing face-to-face community meetings and an interactive website to provide intelligent women a positive and educational support network to help move their business ideas forward. Many of these women have been out of the workforce for several years or they are looking to make a change in their current career.
