Work Wraps Up On George To The Rescue's Roxbury Renovation
The episode will air on NBC April 15th.

ROXBURY, NJ— A Roxbury family's free home renovation courtesy of NBC's George To The Rescue has just wrapped up, and an air date has been announced.
The family, which includes mom Jillian, dad Jason and Levi's two siblings, Shane, 5, and Ruby, 11 months, had been at work undertaking renovations to make their home more accessible for Levi, who was born with spina bifida.
Levi uses a walker, braces and a wheelchair, which made getting around the family's ranch style home difficult.

George Oliphant, host of George To The Rescue, stepped in to donate supplies and a team of contractors to help speed up the renovation process for the Spencer family.
"We figured my husband would have to do most of the work in his 'spare time' after work and on weekends," Jillian Spencer told Patch shortly after they'd been selected. "Now that time can be spent where it matters — with the family!"

Oliphant told the family they had been selected in late January, and work began early the next month. After five weeks, Jillian Spencer announced on the family's blog that renovations have wrapped up, and the episode will air next month.
Much of the work was focused on making the home more accessible for Levi. An accessible bathroom was added on the main floor, and a changing station with steps was installed in Levi's bedroom (you can read all about the changes on Jillian's blog).
"Having George and Roxbury community work on 'phase 1' has been such a great experience and just the boost we needed in this journey. It freed up our budget to use on other projects and relieved pressure off of Jason to do the work himself which was the original plan," the family wrote.
The family's episode will air on April 15 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
