WWII Vet Named Long Valley Senior Citizen Of The Year
The 96-year-old is an active member of the community, volunteering regularly.

LONG VALLEY, NJ— Being 96 years old might slow some people down, but not Marty Fleischer. The active volunteer was named Long Valley's Senior Citizen Of The Year for his community work.
Fleischer has been involved with various senior groups for the past 21 years, both at the community and the state levels. He presents senior talks at the Washington Township library, and leads exercise classes at a local church.
"Martin literally has an average of five volunteer/service events in each month of the calendar year," Recreation Director Darlene Hatcher said in a statement.
