Young Runners Pad Win Total at Tri-Meet
Long Valley Track and Field now 5-2 with one more meet left in regular season.

Despite the turbulent weather on Saturday morning, Long Valley Track and Field hosted Mount Olive and Dover in a tri-meet that added a silver lining to those gray clouds. With one regular meet left in the season, these runners raced, threw and jumped their way to a solid win, bringing their team record to an impressive 5-2.
13-15 Boys
The 13-15 Boys started the day strong with solid finishes in the 800m race. Alec DiLullo (2:44.29) took first, followed by Neil MacIntyre (2:52.93) in second and Hunter Booth (2:53.62) in third.

The boys’ team of Drew Munley, Alec DiLullo, Tyler Johnson and Christian Trimarchi (53.23) won the 4x100m relay with team member Drew Munley (13.22) going on to win the 100m and Tyler Johnson (13.34) coming in second in the event.
In the Mile, Neil MacIntyre (6:25.79) won while Kurt Solsky (6:32.88) crossed the finish in second and Sean Zito (6:33.49) brought home a solid third.

The team also found success in the 400, with Taylor Parkinson Gee (1:05.43) nabbing first and teammate Aiden Carrera (1:06.15) a close second.
Drew Munley (26.92) got his third win of the day in the 200m sprint, followed by Alec DiLullo (27.5) in second and Christian Trimarchi (28.64) in third.
Always a strong event for the boys, Taylor Parkinson Gee (36' 9") nabbed first in the shot put with Tyler Johnson (32' 3.5") an equally strong second.
In the Long Jump, Alec DiLullo (14' 3’) grabbed his third win of the day with Drew Munley (13' 6") coming in second.
13-15 Girls
The girls also started the day with a win from Ava Lusskin finishing the 800m in 2:47. Corrine Rybarski (2:55) placed second in the event.
The girls’ team of Julia Casteneda, Hope Gough, Brianna Harmon, Ava Lusskin (1:01.59) also finished first in the 4x100m relay while Sarah Madden (15.04) finished second in the 100m sprint.
In the Mile, Ava Lusskin (6:26.22) took second, while Julia Casteneda (6:58.44) crossed the finish third.
Ava Lusskin (1:12.22) won the 400m with Brianna Harmon (1:13.57) taking second and Corrine Rybarski (1:14.08) finishing a strong third. Teammate Hope Gough (32.75) had a solid win in the 200m event.
In the field events, the girls also had a terrific day. Shot Put gave the team second and third place finishes from Danielle Madden (21') and Jennifer Aussiker (19' 11’). While Ava Lusskin (11' 2") nabbed her third win of the day in the sand pit for the long jump. Brianna Harmon (8' 11") came in second.
11-12 Boys
Luke Lusskin (2:41.76) had another week with a win in the 800m, while Max Murata (2:48.16) finished a strong second and Jacob Dolan (3:07.56) had a solid third place finish.
The relay team of James Zeolla, Matt Hayden, Max Murata and Luke Lusskin (1:04.9) won the event, with James Zeolla (14.84) also finishing first in the 100m. Sebastian Hughes (15.29) took second in that event.
In the mile, Luke Lusskin (5:54.18) had another win with teammate Tyler Bishop (6:44.10) crossing in third.
The boys swept the 400m event with Max Murata (1:18.25) winning and Ben Rooney (1:19.99) and Collin Gallagher (1:25.30) taking second and third.
It was a photo finish in the 200m event that found, James Zeolla (32.59) in first, while Lars Olsen (33.22) took a close second and Sebastian Hughes (33.25) was an equally close third.
In the field, Alec Rybarski (23' 8") won the Shot Put with Brendan Hurst (22' 5") coming in second and Lars Olsen (21' 6.5") nabbing third. The team also took points in the Long Jump. James Zeolla (12' 4") came in first, with Matthew Hayden (11' 6") in second and Sebastian Hughes (11' 3") in third.
11-12 Girls
Sarah Bhargava (2:50) won the 800m with Rosie Lauezzari (3:17) coming in third.
The relay team anchored by Caroline Hurley won the 4x100m event in 1:04.19, while Hurley also nabbed a strong second place finish in the 100. Crystal Robinson (15.42) came in third in that event.
Rosie Lauezzari got a win in the mile, crossing in 7:11.80, while teammate Sara Daly (8:23.37) had a strong third place finish.
In the 400m, Savannah Porrao finished second with 1:16.33, while Caroline Isemann nabbed third with a finish in 1:17.97. The team also nabbed second and third in the 200, with Crystal Robinson finishing in 33.45 and Caroline Hurley crossing the line in 33.49.
More success was found on the field. Carolyn Galloway (16') took second in the Shot Put with Doris Migliaccio (15' 7”) coming in third. The girls swept the Long Jump, with Sarah Bhargava (10' 5.5") claiming the win and Crystal Robinson (10' 2.5") coming in second. Savannah Porrao (9' 10.5") completed the sweep, finishing third.
9-10 Boys
Eric Lusskin (2:56.32) won the 800m followed by Ryan Matos (3:06.77) in second and Marc Radossich (3:14.56) taking third for a sweep.
In the 100m, Luke Doerr-Fredrickson (15.99) took second, followed by Dean Hurley (16.20) in third.
Jeffrey Cianfrocca (7:43.28) came in second in the mile with teammate Josh Kirsten (7:50.67) coming in third. The boys also found success in the 400, with Zack Draggos (1:17.89) bringing home the win.
Luke Doerr-Fredrickson (33.7) had a win in the 200 with Dean Hurley (35.88) coming in second.
Luke Doerr-Fredrickson (23' 2") had his second win of the day with the Shot Put while Nick Muha (15' 9”- second) and Nick DeChairo (14' 9"- third) swept the event.
9-10 Girls
Sweeping the 800m were Chelsea Cochrane (3:00.06) in first, Sarah Hanifin (3:08.40) in Second and Elise Franchiolla (3:16.7) in third.
The success continued with a win in the 4x100m relay with Sarah Hanifin, Kelsey Collester, Sarah Datesman, Molly Sabo crossing the line in 1:13.98.
Sophia Dolan (17.76) took second in the 100m, followed by Kelsey Collester (18.0) in third.
Chelsea Cochrane (6:49.98) had her second win of the day in the mile with Molly Sabo (6:59.15) in second and Elise Franchiolla (7:11.33) in third.
Molly Sabo (1:27.47) won the 400m with Sarah Hanifin (1:29.49) in second and Sarah Datesman (1:33.08) in third.
Rounding out the events on the track, Rosalie Olsen (38.07) took second in the 200, while Kelsey Collester (38.79) nabbed third.
On the field, the girls swept the shot put with Sarah Datesman (13'11") in first, Laura Nurmi (13'6") in second and Carolina Booth (13') in third. Long Jumpers Sarah Hanifin (9' 8.5") and Elise Franchiolla (5' 8") finished first and third, respectively.
