Kid-Friendly 'Touch-A-Truck' Event To Take Place In Madison

On July 30, kids can get up close and personal with some of the town's most interesting vehicles.

MADISON, NJ — Children and young adults are invited to spend the morning with firefighters and police officers, learning about the equipment and touring emergency vehicles at the biennial Touch-A-Truck event.

On July 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., emergency vehicles and a variety of large trucks will fill the Madison Area YMCA rear parking lot for climbing and exploring. This event gives children of all ages the opportunity to climb aboard, beep the horns, flash the lights, and sound the sirens of their favorite trucks.

Touch-a-Truck will keep families entertained with free activities such as Madison NJ Rocks, a community art activity, balloon artists and a temporary tattoo station.
