The Thursday Morning Club Celebrates Leadership and Service at Annual Installation Luncheon

MADISON, NJ — Friendship, laughter, and celebration filled the Madison Community House on Thursday, April 30, 2026, as the Thursday Morning Club gathered for its annual Installation Luncheon and Awards Ceremony.

TMC President Connie Rostiac welcomed attendees and thanked members for their dedication to the club’s many activities and service projects throughout the year. She also recognized past Thursday Morning Club Presidents for their continued support and leadership.

During the luncheon, the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs Honor Roll and Order of the Lily recipients were recognized for their exceptional dedication and service to the club over the past year. Peach Bolton, Corinne Murphy, and Tricia Armstrong received the Honor Roll recognition and Janice Corte was posthumously awarded the Federation’s highest honor, the Order of the Lily, for her lasting impact to the club.

The installation of the Thursday Morning Club’s officers for the 2026–2028 term was conducted by Karen Jeisi, Vice President of the Highlands District of the NJSFWC. Also in attendance was Barbara McCloskey, President of the NJSFWC.

The club also expressed appreciation to Connie Rostiac for her dedicated leadership and service as President over the past two years and warmly welcomed Olga Soriano as the club’s newly installed President.

Organized in 1896, the Thursday Morning Club owns, operates, and maintains the Madison Community House and is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs. With more than 200 members, the nonprofit organization is dedicated to serving Madison and neighboring communities through volunteerism and community engagement.
