: 30 for: 30 Remembers
Recently I had the rare opportunity to watch a program that was interesting, informative, and entertaining----and everyone kept their clothes on, no one got shot, and vulgarity was kept to a bare minimum. No I’m not kidding I really did have such an experience watching ESPN’s :30 for: 30 on the rivalry between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics mainly during the 1980’s
Not only was the program extremely well done I was not tempted to change channels once and there were 3 parts to the program! Great and new insights were gained with behind the scenes footage and interviews. As I watched the program I seemed to be transported back in time to the prime of my youth the mid 1980’s when NBA basketball was can’t miss viewing and ohhhh have the times changed since

It was nice to think back and remember how it used to be when we watched NBA games from start to finish, I’m not sure if that time will ever come around again
