Jeff Remo Retiring As Mahwah Football Coach After 20 Years
Remo said he wants to spend more time with his family.

MAHWAH, N.J. — After 20 years, Jeffrey Remo is stepping down as head coach of the Mahwah High School football team.
Remo said leading the Thunderbirds to back-to-back state group championships did not factor into his decision to leave the program.
"I have had a great experience at Mahwah High School, both as a player and a coach," Remo said, who played football at the school for three years. Before that, he was a water and ball boy for coach Egidio Caporale.
