Mahwah Republican Club Endorses Candidates For Local Office

MAHWAH, NJ — The Mahwah Republican Club has named the candidates it is endorsing in the general election.

The club endorsed the mayoral recall election and John Roth for mayor. For Town Council, the club endorsed George Ervin, Robert Ferguson, Robert Hermansen, and Michelle Paz. (See related: John Roth Endorsed By District 39th Team)

Mahwah has a nonpartisan form of government. Town Council and mayoral candidates run as independents.

For the 5th Congressional District race, the club endorsed Republican John McCann. For the U.S. Senate race, the club endorsed Republican Bob Hugin.

"We have met with and deliberated on these candidates," said club member Bob Lockwood. "We encourage all Republicans to consider these candidates and positions with a goal to cast the according votes."
