Police Investigate Kitten Dumped On Bergen Co. Sidewalk: Report

MOONACHIE, NJ — An investigation is underway into who abandoned a kitten on a Moonachie street, according to a report.
A homeowner in Moonachie captured the drop-off on her security camera Sunday, then took the kitten to the shelter, according to the Daily Voice. The video shows a person pulling over in an SUV and leaving the kitten on a sidewalk.
Moonachie Police and county authorities are investigating, according to the report.

The Daily Voice reported the person in question is a Bergen County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center employee. Deborah Yankow, the shelter director, told Patch she could not comment as this is an active investigation.
