Route 202 At Franklin Turnpike Reopened

Roadway was closed after it caved in following a pipe that collapsed.

Ramapo Valley Road has been reopened at Franklin Turnpike.

The roadway had been closed since Thursday due to a road cave in under the train trestle because a large storm drain pipe collapsed.

The pipe collapsed Thursday morning and a private contractor has been trying to repair it since. Police said the contractor has pushed the re-opening back to noon to allow for the paving to settle.
