Manalapan Liquor Store On Rt. 9 Robbed

MANALAPAN, NJ — Gordon's Corner Liquor Store, at 350 Rt. 9 north in Manalapan Township, was robbed last week, Manalapan police reported.

Last Tuesday, January 16, at 12:06 a.m., two men driving a box truck forcibly entered the liquor store and removed an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes.

Store equipment and several bottles of inventory were also damaged, police said. The estimated loss has not been determined as of this time, but it is expected to be well in excess of $200.
