Harassment
On Sunday, June 3 at approximately 5:27 p.m., a 73-year-old Manalapan resident contacted this agency in reference to receiving harassing phone calls. The victim alleges that an unknown subject has been contacting the victim multiple times over the past two weeks. Patrolman Peter Bylsma handled the report.

Burglary
On Sunday June 3 at approximately 4:43 p.m., Ptl. Christopher Makwinski and Ptl. Charles Mazzatto responded to a residence on Hedgerow Lane for a report of a burglary. Investigation revealed the suspect(s) forcefully entered the residence and removed an unknown amount of property. Detective Bryan Belardo and Detective Jared Aronson responded and processed the scene. Ptl. Christopher Makwinski handled the initial report. This incident is pending further investigation.

Fraud
On Saturday, June 2, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a 28-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that unknown actors had opened a credit card in the name of the victim and made $549 worth of fraudulent charges. Patrolman Ross Dessel took the report.

Assault
On Friday, June 1, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a 32-year-old Freehold resident and a 44-year-old Freehold resident each reported that they were assaulted by the other while in the parking lot of Peking Pavilion restaurant located at 110 Route 33 in Manalapan. Both parties sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation, but refused medical attention. No criminal complaints have been signed. Patrolman Eric Voorand was the responding officer and took the report.

Warrant Arrest
On Friday, June 1, at approximately 10:46 a.m., Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 south in the area of Taylors Mills Road. Melinda Keough, a 49-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, female, resident of Freehold, was found to have warrants issued for her arrest by the Freehold Township Municipal Court in the amount of $541 and the Freehold Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $791. Ms. Keough was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and subsequently remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail. Patrolman Bart Mattaliano was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, May 31 at approximately 9:44 p.m., Sergeant Michael Hoppock conducted a motor vehicle stop on Shilling Road, in the area of Gordon’s Corner Road. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Darrell Holland, a 46-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, male, resident of Linden, was found to have warrants issued for his arrest by the Sayreville Municipal Court in the amount of $550 and the Perth Amboy Municipal Court in the amount of $750. Mr. Holland was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on his own recognizance. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, May 31 approximately 5:19 p.m., Patrolman Matthew Porricelli conducted a motor vehicle on Route 9, in the area of Taylor Mills Road. Mamadi Diomande, a 25-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, male, resident of the Bronx, New York, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Middletown Township Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Diomande was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli was the arresting officer.

Fraud
On Wednesday, May 31 at 4:53 p.m., Manalapan Township Police Department was notified by the Marple Township Police Department in New York of a fraud incident reported by a resident in that jurisdiction that occurred at the Best Buy in Manalapan Township. Two unknown actors worked together utilizing the victim’s identity to purchase an IPhone X valued at $1,199.99. Patrolman Kyle Williams took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Fraud
On Thursday, May 31 at 11:34 a.m., a 47-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor gained access to the victim’s Chase bank and removed $354.00 on May 7, 2018. The accounts were subsequently closed. Patrolman Anthony Cascella took the report.

Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, May 30 at approximately 2:43 p.m., Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis conducted a motor vehicle stop on Whitman Boulevard in the area of Gordon’s Corner Road. The driver, identified as Albert R. Cruz, a 27-year-old, unmarried, male, resident of Marlboro, who is employed as a landscaper, was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest by the Monmouth Beach Municipal Court in the amount of $714.00. Mr. Cruz was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis was the arresting officer.

Theft
On Wednesday, May 30 at approximately 9:45 a.m., a 37-year-old Manalapan resident reported that unknown actors removed the front license plate from the victim’s vehicle, which was valued at $75.00. The victim was unable to report when and where the theft could have occurred. Patrolman Jeannie Letts took the report.

Fraud
On Friday, May 29, 2018, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a 22-year-old resident of Colts Neck responded to Manalapan Township Police headquarters and reported that an unknown actor obtained the victim’s TD Bank debit card number and made multiple purchases in Manalapan Township, Freehold Township, Howell Township, Marlboro Township, Old Bridge Township, and Englishtown. The victim reports a total loss $200.00. The account was subsequently closed. Patrolman Jeffrey Mattson took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Theft
On Tuesday, May 29 at approximately 1:33 p.m., a 69-year-old resident of Manalapan reported that unknown actor(s) removed jewelry valued at $45,490.00 from a Pink Star Court residence between January 2018 and May 2018. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis took the report, which is pending further investigation.

Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams) and drug paraphernalia

On Monday May 28, at approximately 10:30 am, Patrolman Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 33 east for a motor vehicle violation. During the motor vehicle stop the driver Carlos Carvajal, a 22-year-old single Hispanic male, resident of Delaware, and employed as a laborer was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Carvajal was arrested, transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons. Patrolman Mattaliano handled the
arrest.
