15th Annual Surfers Ball 2018 For Manasquan High School Surf Team

The 15th annual Surfers Ball 2018 for the Manasquan High School Surf Team will be held next week.

The event will begin Saturday, May 19 at 4 p.m. and will be held at the Bar Anticipation in Lake Como.

In their 14th season as a team, this year’s surfers won the NSSA Northeast State Championship for the 4th year in a row. In addition, they finally received recognition from the MHS Board of Education as an official varsity sport beginning with the 2018 season, according to the team.

Armed with these honors, this coed team of 45 surfers is preparing to compete in the NSSA National High School Championships in California this June. Last year’s team finished Nationals with their highest point total in history and they are ready to improve on that result this year.

The is the primary fundraiser to benefit the Manasquan High School Surf Team. Funds raised help offset the cost of travel to California and pay expenses for next season.
