• Smith leads intergovernmental survey of Nor'easter damage across NJ-04 shore towns (house.gov) — Manasquan's beachfront took a hit in last week's Nor'easter, and Rep. Chris Smith joined Mayor Mike Mangan and other federal, state, and county officials on Friday to survey the erosion and flooding damage. The group discussed immediate repair needs and long-term resilience projects, emphasizing how prior protections helped and how new funding and engineering work could better shield Manasquan and neighboring shore towns from future storms.
   

• Point Pleasant Campaign Signs Were Stolen; Police Say A Manasquan Man Did It (patch.com) — A 67-year-old Manasquan resident has been charged with theft after Point Pleasant police say he removed numerous political campaign signs from private properties last month. Officers, who cited video evidence, are reminding residents that political disagreements must stay lawful and that tampering with others' signs can bring criminal charges as election season heats up around Manasquan and neighboring towns.
