Mostly sunny, but there's still possibility of thunderstorms in the afternooon.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies today. But there is a possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Let's hope it's not a repeat of Saturday afternoon.
It will be hot - in the mid to upper 80s. Winds will be light and variable becoming west around five miles per hour later this morning, then southeast at 10 miles per hour in the afternoon.
The surf will be around three feet, with southeast swells from two to three feet. The water temperature is 74 degrees.
The rip current risk is low. But strong currents can still occur around piers, jetties and other areas, especially during low tide. Swim only in areas where lifeguards are present and discuss any possible surf zone hazards with them.
