The Belmar Borough Council and mayor presented the proposed 2012 municipal budget Wednesday evening. The presentation was followed by a public hearing.  Municipal property taxes will remain flat for the third-straight year, Mayor Matt Doherty said.  A copy of the proposed budget is attached to the PDF section of this article.  The mayor and council also introduced three new ordinances and adopted a bond ordinance.  If you missed our live coverage of the meeting, please read the transcript above.
