Transcript: Monday's Manasquan Council Meeting

The mayor and council on Monday updated residents on the borough's new water treatment plant, the center of discussion for months as some residents , and Fisherman's Cove project that will see the repair of an area of jetty damaged after last year's Hurricane Irene. 

The council is also voted down the second, and final, reading of a proposed ordinance that throughout the borough, but will introduce an amended version of the draft ordinance at its next meeting on Sept. 4.
