New York Man Faces Assault, Weapons Charges in Manasquan Incident

A 23-year-old New York City man is facing three charges relating to an Aug. 20 incident in the borough of Manasquan according to an indictment handed down by the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Danny Sanchez faces one count each of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

The indictment alleges that Sanchez attacked another person with a knife.
