The Results Are In!

Last week, we asked Manasquan-Belmar Patch readers to weigh in on a number of issues affecting them locally. Here are the results:

When asked to sound off about at the beachfront. Readers voted overwhelmingly in favor of replacing the aging beach headquarters facility.

Of the 133 calculated votes, 103 readers said that they support measures that would replace the structure. 22 readers voted against the project and eight were undecided.

Public sentiment in Belmar, however, did not sway in favor of the replacement of a different structure.

When asked if they supported a and close the existing facility at 10th Avenue and E Street, 28 of 37 voters said no. Only eight said that they would support moving the library and one voter was undecided.

Readers were also asked to give their opinions on a proposed piece of state legislation that would equalize state aid for education in New Jersey. , New Jersey Libertarian Party candidate for 30th District Assembly, had the support of 17 out of 18 Patch readers would cast votes. Just one reader casted a no vote when asked if they supported the measure.
