Manchester School Board Election: 4 Candidates File For 2 Seats
The Manchester Township Board of Education will have at least one new face, as only one current board member is seeking re-election.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Four candidates are vying for two three-year terms on the Manchester Township Board of Education in the Nov. 2, 2021 election.
There will be at least one new face on the board, as Bryan Jenner resigned his seat on July 19 because he has moved out of Manchester. Jenner's term ends Dec. 31, 2021.
George J. Cervenak III, who was elected to the one-year unexpired term of Christopher Nolan, is seeking election to a full term. Also running are Nicole Sahlin, Sasiya O. Omilanowicz, and Mike Kelliher, all of whom are newcomers.

Sahlin is a teacher, according to her Linked In page; Omilanowicz is a U.S. Navy veteran according to her Facebook account. Kelliher's employment was not clear.
Jenner posted about his resignation July 19: "So, over the weekend, I tendered my resignation with the Manchester Township Board of Education as I am no longer living in Manchester. I appreciate the opportunity to have served the district over the last 2-1/2 years. I hope I was able to make a difference for all and wish them all the best in the future."

Cervenak and Kelliher both are running under the "Education is Key" slogan. Sahlin is running under the slogan "Achieving Excellence Together" and Omilanowicz is running under the "Putting Students First" slogan.
