Traffic Signal Planned For Route 530 In Manchester
The Township Council is set to consider a resolution to accept the electricity costs — a key step in getting the signal installed.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Motorists who travel Route 530 in Manchester will have a new traffic light to get used to, as Ocean County has agreed to install one at the intersection with Congasia Road.
The Manchester Township Council is scheduled to vote Monday night on a resolution to authorize the installation of the traffic signal and take responsibility for the costs of the electricity to run it.
The resolution says the traffic signal is coming because "conditions at the intersection necessitate the installation of a traffic signal in order to improve safety and expedite the safe movement of traffic."
