Blotter: Two Apartment Burglaries Reported This Week
The following information was provided by the Maplewood Police Department.

Burglars apparently broke into a Franklin Terrace apartment by pushing in an unsecured air conditioning unit sometime between early morning Jan. 1 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 2.
According to the Maplewood Police, once inside, the burglars removed a Dynes 32” flat screen television and an Xbox gaming system. The resident reported the burglary on Jan. 3.

On the evening of Jan. 9, Maplewood police responded to a Chancellor Ave. apartment on the report of a burglary. The tenant reported that, sometime between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., her Toshiba laptop computer disappeared from her bed and the power cord was left, still plugged into the wall. The resident also told police that the front door to the building was unsecured when she returned home and she thought her apartment door had pry marks on it.
