Burglary and Attempted Burglary This Week in Maplewood
The following information was supplied by the Maplewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two residents reported burglary attempts this past week in Maplelwood — one successful, one not.
The first attempt took place on Sept. 16 on Northview Terrace where the resident reported her front door was damaged when she was away from her home for about an hour in the morning. She returned just before 11 a.m. to find that her front door had been tampered with.
Although entry was not gained to the home, there was extensive damage to the front door caused by someone trying to pry the door open. Maplewood Police Department detectives believe some type of tool was used to cause the damage to the door.
