Hot Stuff: Video from Fire Department Apparatus Demonstration

Maplewood Fire Department Station House #1 was the place to be on Saturday as guests and visitors got to experience the new rigs.

Almost $1.5 million in new equipment was on display at Maplewood Fire Department Station House #1 on Dunnell Road yesterday, June 19, as the FD held a community open house to demonstrate the new rigs to the public and also thank the Maplewood Lions Club for its support in purchasing thermal imaging equipment. This video clip features Fire Chief Joseph Richardella, Captain Joseph Callaghan and Mayor Vic DeLuca explaining the need and the expenditure for the new equipment.
