Maplewood 7-Eleven Robbed At Gunpoint, 2 Home Burglaries Reported
Maplewood police say that a robbery and two burglaries were reported in the township last week.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood police say that a robbery and two burglaries were reported in the township last week.
According to the Maplewood Police Department, a male suspect entered the 7-Eleven on Irvington Avenue around 3:45 a.m. on Sept. 11, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The alleged robber then fled the store northbound in a silver or grey vehicle, police said.
Nobody suffered injuries during the incident, police stated.

BURGLARIES
Maplewood residents also reported two burglaries last week, police said.

- September 10 – “At approximately 12:15 p.m., a resident of Franklin Terrace, reported hearing noises in his home. When he investigated, he found that his home had been burglarized while he was upstairs. Nothing was reported missing at the time of the report.”
- September 11 – “Sometime over the previous two days a home on the 200 block of Parker Avenue was entered. Jewelry and cash were reportedly stolen.”
