Maplewood Police Department: Crime Prevention Tip of the Month

The has issued its May Crime Prevention Tip:

Homeowners are encouraged to utilize motion sensor lighting in driveways, yards and near entrances of homes wherever practical to deter criminals from using darkness to conceal their criminal activities. Also make sure shrubs that are in close proximity to the home are neatly trimmed to low levels so as to reduce the opportunity for criminals to conceal themselves on the property.

Always lock all doors and windows and report all suspicious activity to the Maplewood Police Department.
