Maplewoodian: Tuscan Student Not Seriously Injured in Car Accident
A student was struck outside of the school on Monday.

Maplewoodian has been reporting an incident involving a Tuscan Elementary School student who was struck by a car outside of the school on Monday. Read the update with a statement from the Maplewood Police here.
According to the police, the child was not seriously injured. The Maplewood Police have been working with a school committee over the past few years and note that the school "has one of the most comprehensive traffic flow programs and enforcement responses in the township." However, Chief of Police Robert Cimino says that the police will initiate enhanced enforcement efforts in the wake of the accident.
