Power Outage Due to Downed Wire

Update: Power was fully restored to all Maplewood customers as of 3:30 p.m. according to PSE&G communications specialist Annette Hicks.

Three hundred Maplewood customers of PSE&G are without power in the Wyoming section this afternoon but should have power restored shortly.

The Maplewood Fire Department responded to a downed wire in the Wyoming section today at 1:40 p.m. and called PSE&G. PSE&G crews are now on site. Annette Hicks of the PSE&G communication department said at 3:08 p.m. that 300 customers have been affected but that PSE&G expects that power should be restored within the hour.
