Motorcycle Stolen from Maplewood Home
A man's bike was taken from his friend's house Tuesday night.

A Maplewood resident saw his motorcycle being stolen - then chased after it with a friend, but wasn't able to get it back, police reported.
The owner of a motorcycle saw a heavy-set man steal the black and gray Honda from in front of a friend's house at 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
The man said he left his friend's house, on the 300 block of Boyden Avenue, and began chasing the heavy-set man, who was wearing cargo shorts and a dark hoodie.

The owner followed in his friend's car, heading north on Chancellor Avenue and called the police.The heavy set man turned on Springfield Avenue, heading east.
However, the motorcycle owner said he lost sight of the man and the motorcycle when they entered Irvington. The owner lost sight of the allegedly stolen motorcycle on Springfield Avenue in Irvington.

Police have no further details and are still investigating.
