2 Teens Arrested After Car Break-Ins Near Maplewood/Millburn Border
Police responded to a report of three people breaking into cars near the Maplewood/Millburn border. Two were caught, police said.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Two arrests were made last month after Millburn police responded to a report of car break-ins near the Maplewood border.
Police said that officers Jezewski, Lyons and Bifano responded to the area of Ridgewood Road near the Maplewood border on Oct. 28 at 12:56 a.m. after receiving a report of three males burglarizing cars in Maplewood.
They found three people matching the description on Ridgewood Road, but the suspects took off running, police said.

Officers found and arrested Kyreek Josey, 18, of Newark and a 14-year-old juvenile from Newark, they said. Josey was charged with hindering and obstruction and released on his own recognizance, police said. The juvenile was released to a family member.
Later, police say, the responded two burglaries into auto on Bailey Road, both occurring in the same timeframe, according to security footage. The burglaries remain under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
