Third Business Burglarized in Maplewood Village
The following information was provided by the Maplewood Police Department.

A third Maplewood Village business was burglarized this week, after two other businesses reported break-ins and burglaries last week.
On January 24, Maplewood Police Officer Rodney Tannenbaum discovered that a Maplewood Avenue nail salon had been burglarized overnight when he noticed broken glass at the store. Glass on the rear door of the establishment had been smashed by burglars who then removed a cash register containing $40 in cash.
The incident follows on two reported commercial burglaries in the Village last week.

In those incidents, the burglar or burglars apparently gained entry through the rear door of each establishment sometime after closing time on Jan. 20 and opening on Jan. 21. At the first scene, the cash register was removed. At the second store, approximately $250 was removed from a register.
The Maplewood Police Department Detective Bureau is investigating.
