Maplewood Teens Accused of Gunpoint Robbery in Borden Park

Two Maplewood men and a third person robbed a Short Hills resident at gunpoint last week in Borden Park, police said.

Kason Culver, 19, and Bilal Patterson, 19, were arrested last Tuesday.

A 21-year-old Short Hills man was robbed at gunpoint in Borden Park by three men at around 11 p.m. on July 28.

The man handed over his keys, phone and wallet before the three men fled.

Culver is being held on $150,000 bail and Patterson's bail was set at $100,000. They have been charged with robbery. The third person remains at-large.
