Warren Road Closed, PSE&G on Site

Warren Road between Parker Avenue and Elberta Road was closed late this morning as PSE&G trucks arrived on scene after a low-pressure gas line was disrupted by contractors.

A PSE&G spokesperson confirmed that five residents of the area were evacuated as a precaution late this morning by the Maplewood Fire Department. Shortly after 1 p.m., the street remained closed as PSE&G crews continued to work. However, the PSE&G representative said that the street would be re-opened shortly.
