Another Driveway Car Theft, This Time In Colts Neck
Wealthy parts of Monmouth County, like Holmdel, Middletown and Colts Neck, are being targeted by car thieves, police say.

COLTS NECK, NJ — Yet another high-end luxury car sitting unlocked in a driveway was stolen in Monmouth County, and this most recent incident happened Friday night in Colts Neck.
Sometime late Friday night, Sept. 29, a resident of Country Meadow Drive in Colts Neck reported that their white 2017 Jaguar XJ was stolen from their driveway. The vehicle had been left unlocked and the key-fob left inside, Colts Neck police said.
This is the fourth car, and third incident, of luxury vehicles being stolen from driveways in the area: On Thursday, Sept. 14, two unlocked cars were reported stolen from a driveway off Seven Oaks Circle in Holmdel. Then sometime overnight on Monday, Sept. 25, another Holmdel resident reported their 2017 Audi was stolen from their driveway on Fox Hunt Road.

Two Cars Stolen From Holmdel Driveways Sept. 14
Middletown police issued a warning to residents last week, asking them to always lock their cars and not leave key fobs visible. August and September saw an increase in car thefts in Middletown, police there reported.
