Colts Neck, Marlboro Schools Announce Blizzard Plans
The Freehold Regional district posted information on its website
The Freehold Regional School District has announce early dismissals for Monday with the coming blizzard, according to a notice on the district’s website.
The National Weather Service upgraded its forecast for the Colts Neck and Marlboro areas to a blizzard warning, with predictions of snow beginning early Monday and becoming heavy in the early afternoon, with snowfall totals of 18 to 28 inches possible.
With that in mind, the district’s notice says:

“Due to the inclement weather forecast, all district schools will follow an early dismissal schedule on Monday, Jan. 26. Early schools (Freehold, Howell, Manalapan) will dismiss at 12:08 PM. Late schools (Colts Neck, Freehold Township, Marlboro) will dismiss at 1:03 PM. No lunches will be served.”
