Colts Neck Resident One of 16 Local Doctors Named Physician of the Year at Ocean Medical Center

A Colts Neck resident has been named a Physician of the Year at Ocean Medical Center. Michael Rothberg, M.D., was recognized along with 15 other physicians selected by the nurses at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ.

Each year, the nurses at Ocean Medical Center celebrate the special relationship that they have with members of the medical staff by nominating physicians that they feel have exceeded their jobs with their dedicated service, enthusiasm, and support.  Dr. Rothberg has demonstrated to the nurses at Ocean that he has a distinct commitment to his staff members and patients.

“Dr. Rothberg has always demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the care of our patients,” nurses who work with him at the hospital’s Family Health Center say. “He works well with the interdisciplinary teams as well. His support for the staff of the FHC is unwavering and we are lucky to have him as the director of the medical clinic.”

These annual awards give the nurses an opportunity to recognize physicians who exemplify the expertise, compassion, and commitment that is indicative of Ocean’s medical staff.”
