drug overdoses in NJ

Did you know that 1 person dies everyday from a drug overdose.  Did you know a drug overdose can be prevented if an antidote called Naloxone(narcan) that comes in a nasal spray form if administered immediately can reverse the drug reaction and stop the overdose. Did you also know that in Manalapan Police, First Aid Squad and all other emergency response  DO NOT carry this life saving device. Gov. Christie just approved the "Good Samaritan Law" which allows the use of this antidote  its and "overdose prevention act" however No one carrys it with them in an emergency. I was told by Monoc (Monmouth Ocean Hospital Service Corp) that just paramedics  carry Naloxone and from what I know in living in NJ the police are usually the first on the seen followed by fire dept. first aid squad and then the ambulance. It takes a minute to die from a drug overdose and it could take a minute to prevent it. Why are we not doing everything we can to save our youth from dying from this Nationwide Epidemic.
