Eight Candidates On Ballot for Colts Neck BOE

There are three full-term positions, and one short-term position available in November.

Colts Neck residents will choose among eight candidates in November to fill four open seats on the Board of Education, including one one-year term position.

Three full-term positions are open on the board, for three years each, as well as one one-year term position. Candidates had until Tuesday to file their petitions to be on the ballot with the Monmouth County Clerk.

According to the district Board of Education website, board members Christine Gold, Dr. Kimberly Raymond and Gregory Beriont's terms expire in January, 2013. Gold did not appear on the clerk's list of November candidates.

The Freehold Regional School District does not have an open position in Colts Neck or Marlboro.
