Basic Guitar Workshop for Teens

This four-part workshop will teach you a lot of the basics: guitar tuning, restringing, tuning keys, and note structure. Students are requested to bring in a song that they would like to learn to play. This workshop is for the true beginner with no formal guitar instruction.
 
Bring your own guitar: an electric guitar is preferred but an acoustic one is fine too. You must be available to attend all four sessions: Thursdays, May 31, June 7, June 14, and June 28. Please choose one of the two available time slots: 6-7 p.m. or 7:30-8:30 p.m.

For teens in sixth grade and up. Registration is limited and ends on Friday, May 25, 2012. Please call or stop by the Reference Desk.
