Discipleship Night at Monmouth Worship Center

Monmouth Worship Center is pleased to announce a new semester of “Discipleship Night” classes for the winter, Jan. 11 through March 21 on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

All classes will be offered every Wednesday evening, starting with a short time of worship at 7:30 p.m. and will end at approximately 9 p.m.  The classes are offered free of charge and are open to the public. Any class can be taken any week. Free nursery, children’s and youth activities are provided. Six courses are being offered:

 1.      LIONESS ARISING - a Lisa Bevere DVD-based class which reveals and compares the characteristics of the lioness with the spiritual lives of women

 2.      THIS WAS YOUR LIFE - an examination of biblical teachings which will explore what happens at the bema seat of judgment when Christ reviews our lives

3.      THE SAMSON SYNDROME - a character study on the life of Samson and what men can learn from this fascinating biblical hero

4.      THE WAY OF THE MASTER - a DVD-based class which will teach you simple, effective techniques to enable you to witness to others

5.      BLACK CULTURAL INFLUENCE IN AMERICAN RELIGION - Using DVDs and other materials we will study some of the exciting lives of key people who helped shape American religion.

6.      INSIGHTS ON 1 AND 2 PETER (offered in Spanish) - a continuation of a verse-by-verse study on the letters of Peter
