Exercise at Colts Neck: Nia

Did you make a New Year's resolution to stay healthy but find gym membership too expensive? Are you looking into alternate methods of exercise other than pounding the treadmill? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then Nia might be for you.

Nia combines movement and practices from Yoga, Tai Chi, Akkido, Jazz and similar activities. Nia movements can be customized for the individual's needs, fitness and agility. It offers cardiovascular conditioning and no prior training is required. Wear comfortable clothes and experience this joyous and healthy exercise.

This class will be taught by Meredith Amato, a certified Nia instructor. She is also a Yoga instructor and originally trained as a professional dancer.

Anyone aged 15 or older are invited to attend this event, however, registration is required. Please stop by or call the library today to reserve a space.
