Lecture: "The Science of Our Christian Faith"

Dr. Chris Kaiser from the Western Theological Seminary (Reformed Church in America) will be visiting the Colts Neck Reformed Church to offer two presentations on science and faith. Dr. Kaiser has a Ph.D in astrogeophysics in addition to a Ph.D in theological studies and has focused his teaching, research and publishing largely on the intersection between science and faith in our society and historically.

Dr. Kaiser will be offering two presentations - "Creation and the History of Science and Faith" and "Belief in the Fields of Science, Then and Now."

There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and interaction with Dr. Kaiser during the presentations. For more information about Dr. Kaiser, his publications and his field of study, go to www.westernsem.edu.

The program will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the church’s Fellowship Hall, (located upstairs in the brick Education Building behind the Sanctuary) with the first presentation.

The second presentation will start after a short break at approximately 4:30 p.m. The day will conclude with a catered dinner at 5:45 p.m.

You will even have the opportunity to attend a bell concert in our Sanctuary at the conclusion of dinner at 7 p.m. The presentation and dinner are both free and open to the community, but sign-ups are necessary. Please contact the church office at 732-462-4555 for more information and to have a spot reserved.
