Families Participate in a Day of Play at The Goddard School Block Party

On Sept. 22, Marlboro area children and families came together to experience a day centered on learning through play, fitness and nutrition.

During the Block Party event hosted by The Goddard School located in Morganville, parents and children participated in a number of hands-on activities that demonstrated the power of play in helping children learn the skills they need for success and well-being in life.

Families also participated in a Guinness World Records game of Simon Says.

"The Goddard School Block Party was a fun and educational way to show families why play, fitness and nutrition matter and that how children play influences their choices in the future," says Carol Vargo, owner of The Goddard School located in Morganville.

"Through imaginative activities, we were able to demonstrate how play and making healthy choices can help today’s children become tomorrow’s leaders."
