
Congratulations to Michael Colley, 2012 Mr. MHS, and all contestants.
The Mr. MHS contestants, seniors in , that were in the event had to first meet strict eligibility requirements in order to become a contestant.
They had to have been involved in Marlboro High School organizations, clubs, etc. throughout their four years and receive approval from teachers. Once the candidates were selected the competition began!

On Friday, Feb. 3 these senior boys engaged in a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast. The boys set up individual tables inside the hallway entrance to the school with all types of breakfast items for the faculty to enjoy.
Their journey continued on the road to Mr. MHS on Monday, Feb. 6 with a "Dress up Day". The boys dressed in suits and also and began a collection for a charity from their fellow students.

On Tuesday, Feb. 7, it was "Muscle Day" and the candidates dressed up to show off their muscles!
On Wednesday, Feb. 8, it was "Spirit Day" and the boys dressed in Marlboro colors in order to display their school spirit.
On the evening of Thursday, Feb. 9, the Mr. MHS candidates partook in various activities throughout the evening.
First they performed a dance routine with the MHS Dance Team. Then each candidate had to perform a prepared skit which included other MHS students.
Next, they dressed up in formal wear supplied by Tuxedo Court and were escorted down the aisle of the auditorium by a teacher of their choice.
Once the Mr. MHS candidates were on the stage they also engaged in a question and answer period with the judges.
The Mr. MHS contestants collected over $500 for charity.
