JCP&L Conducting Aerial Patrol in Marlboro Area

The inspections will take place between Aug. 14 and Aug. 20, weather permitting.

JCP&L is conducting aerial surveillance of Annual Supervisory Vegetation Management Aerial Patrol in the Marlboro area between Aug. 14 and Aug. 20, weather permitting.

According to an email sent to residents by Marlboro Mayor Jon Hornik, "The helicopter will be flying at a speed of about 35-40 mph above or alongside the lines, and may circle around for closer inspection. The helicopter is grey with a black bottom & stripe, Tail # N555JC. Marlboro Township Police have been notified of the inspection details."

JCP&L is monitoring herbicide applications and its effectiveness this year.
