JCP&L to Conduct Air Inspection From Helicopter

The inspections will continue until March 16.

Marlboro residents may notice a hovering helicopter in the next few days around town. Don't panic, JCP&L is attempting to identify infrastructure repair issues in the township from the air.

The electric company will be looking for issues within the transmission lines, until around March 16, weather permitting.

The helicopter will be flying slowly (25-30 mph) along the lines, and may hover at any time for a closer inspection. The helicopter registration tail number is N371EE. As always, poor weather and emergency patrols/repairs elsewhere may cause re-scheduling and/or delay.
