Stay Hopeful is a new community campaign intended to "provide simple ways for kids and teens to get involved in the community." If you're looking to get your kids (K-8) into community service in an easy, yet meaningful way, Stay Hopeful can help. The first project will teach your children how to run their own food drive in just two sessions! First session February 15 at 2 p.m., held at Turtle Creek Learning Academy in Marlboro, gets the kids all set up and second session concludes on March 14 at Freehold Open Door where the kids will get to help stock the shelves with their donations and learn about hunger in Monmouth County. FREE. Stay Hopeful was created and is coordinated by Lily Krietzberg, a freshman at the Law and Public Service Program at Colts Neck High School. Register your child by emailing Lily Krietzberg at lilykrietzberg@gmail.com, or calling 732-972-1406. And please share and pass along!
