Marlboro PD Gets First Explosives-Detection K9
Bolo, a police K9 trained in explosives detection, joined the Marlboro police department this January, with handler Officer Josh Abrahamson.

MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ — The first explosives-detection K9 has joined the Marlboro police department this January, the department announced in a press release.
The police dog, "Bolo," is not the first K9 on the force, but he is the only dog working currently (the others have been retired), and he is the first K9 to be specially trained to sniff out explosives.
Patrolman Joshua Abrahamson and Bolo graduated from canine patrol and scent school, a 17-week specialized training program in police canine patrol work as well as explosives detection. Officer Abrahamson and Bolo will be assigned to patrol duties around Marlboro Township.
