Marlboro Police Will Start Issuing Seat Belt Tickets
Beginning May 22 and running through June 4, Marlboro police will deploy high-visibility seat belt checkpoints and saturation patrols.

MARLBORO, NJ — Buckle up if you live in Marlboro Township. In the next few weeks, Marlboro police will be participating in the nation's "Click It or Ticket" campaign, which means they'll specifically be looking for drivers not wearing seat belts.
Beginning May 22 and running through June 4, Marlboro police will deploy high-visibility seat belt checkpoints and saturation patrols, in combination with local and national publicity efforts, to reiterate the life-saving value of seat belts.
During last year's “Click it or Ticket” campaign, police issued 26,551 seat belt citations across New Jersey. They also issued 5,517 speeding summonses and made 876 impaired driving arrests. So, if you want to avoid a ticket — and be a safe driver — buckle up!
